Coach Rousey | Alaska‑based Running Coach
About Coach Rousey
Coach Rousey is an Alaska‑based running coach with 30 years of experience helping athletes train with purpose, clarity, and consistency. His approach blends experience, communication, and an athlete‑centered philosophy shaped by Alaska’s running culture and a lifetime in endurance sport.
I coach because running has always been more than training to me. It’s a way to build confidence, create structure, and stay connected to what matters. My goal is to help athletes train with purpose while staying healthy for the long run.
Coaching Philosophy
Running is a long‑term relationship between your goals, your life, and your body’s ability to adapt. My coaching is built on clarity, communication, and purposeful progression. You bring honesty and effort. I bring structure, guidance, and adjustments that support your goals. Together, we build a training rhythm that fits your life.

I’ve coached in Alaska for most of my life, and I still believe the best part of this work is helping athletes discover what they’re capable of — often long before they see it themselves.
